Howdy all! I'm writing from my conference because I forgot completely to get back to folks regarding something we read at Mission San Juan Bautista. The word "monjerio" came up during the scavenger hunt that the kids participated in, and I honestly could not recall its meaning. Well, for all interested parties, the word is used to describe a dormitory for young girls. Consider yourself knowledgeable.
BTW, Mrs. Abelar tells me the kids had a very nice day. I'm glad to know it.
