Thursday & Friday

Lucas was given one job today, and it was to make me angry. (Not for real, but as part of a lesson. This was his response.)

Howdy all. We had a blast today, as the kids have been given a challenge. We have a groovy program in the computer lab that allows us to compete against each other in multiplication races. Everyone wants to beat me. So, I dared them to. We'll see what happens, but so far I am creamin' 'em! (And, it's kinda fun.)

The kids are responsible for the following tonight:

-math 80
-reading log
-science practice book pages 108 & 109

Wednesday

Howdy all. The kids are responsible for the following tonight:

-reading log
-math 79
-reading practice book page 273
-Reflections practice book page 64
-continue studying for Friday's spelling quiz

Just an FYI, report cards go home two weeks from Friday, on March 13th. Next Friday, March 6, will be the last day I can accept work from the students. So, if kids are needing to make up work from progress reports, I would strongly suggest getting that to me sooner than later.

Respectfully, Mr. Bryant

Tuesday

Howdy all. This guy was hanging out in the beach brush, and made for a great photo subject. Thanks again to all the families and friends who were able to accompany us to Ano Nuevo yesterday. It was truly memorable.

Wednesday night brings a PVUSD Board Meeting. The meeting begins at 7pm in the District Offices on Green Valley Rd in Watsonville. Individuals are encouraged to attend and voice their concerns regarding proposed cuts to next year's classrooms.

The kids are responsible for the following tonight:

-reading log
-reading practice book pages 265-267
-math lesson 78

Respectfully, Mr. Bryant

the Best Monday

Thank you everyone for a lovely day at Ano Nuevo. The weather was rough, but the kids were troopers. Yes, there are some drenched shoes. However, there was much puddle-stomping and mud. The elephant seal population is strong this year. I'll get pictures posted tomorrow.

The kids are only responsible for spelling tonight. They can be found on reading practice book pages 270 & 271.

Respectfully, Mr. Bryant
