Howdy all, and thanks for checking in. Please be aware of the following:
- School Picture Day is tomorrow morning. Our appointment is at 8:10, so I will get the kids in and photographed before heading out for PE. Please make sure your kids come to presentable. They always do, I know. Just be mindful of bedhead. Kids need to bring their photo forms to school tomorrow. If you need extras, they are available in the office.
Both grades are responsible for the following tonight:
- Saxon 20 (all)
- Mrs. Mitchener's Problem o' the Week
- Nature Log entry that works to combine research with personal observations
Respectfully, Mr. Bryant

Tuesday
Howdy everyone, and thanks for checking in. A few notes to be mindful of:
1.) School pictures are scheduled for this Thursday.
2.) Scholastic Book orders for this month are due no later than the 28th. Orders can be made on-line through the link on this page, or can be sent to school.
3.) The charter bus quotes that I am getting so far for our scheduled deYoung trip next month are very expensive. I'm waiting on a few more quotes, so I should be able to let folks know our mode of transportation by Friday and the cost associated with the trip.
The 4th grade is responsible for the following tonight:
- Saxon 19 (all)
- Reading Practice Book pages 41 & 42
- Kingdom writings should be up to date (Descriptive paragraph of the physical kingdom & a separate paragraph detailing the leadership of the kingdom, how rules are made and enforced.)
The 5th grade is responsible for the following tonight:
- Saxon 19 (all)
- Reading Practice Book pages 40 - 42
- Kingdom writings should be up to date
- Reflections practice book p. 17
Respectfully, Mr. Bryant

Monday & thanks
Howdy all, and thanks for checking in. I'd like to extend a warm thank you to those of you that were able to attend Thursday's Back to School Night and going easy on me. It is difficult to appease the masses at times, so I appreciate greatly your willingness to bear with me and my tangents on educational theory. I'm enclosing a great article from TIME magazine for everyone in your child's Monday Folder tonight about the state of education in the U.S. It's an enlightening read, and one that I hope you will take the time to explore.
Both grades are responsible for the following tonight:
- Monday Folders
- Saxon 18 (all)
- Reading Practice Book pp. 45 & 46
- finish aquarium thank you letter, if necessary
respectfully, Mr. Bryant
