Howdy all, and thanks for checking in. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday, and am excited about our upcoming year together! It will be a new experience for us all, and a journey that I am thrilled to undertake with each of you. I will be sending home a detailed letter with each student on the first day of school informing everyone of our needs, wants and goals for the school year. I have a well-stocked classroom at the moment, but will request that the kids provide for the following themselves as we get started this school year:
- dry erase markers
- pencils
- a small, manual pencil sharpener
- a Nalgene-styled water bottle
- an 8" x 10" sketchbook (totally blank pages on the inside, please)
- a backpack
- small USB thumb drive
The kids will be provided with:
- 2 composition books
- lined paper
- erasers
- colored pencils
- glue sticks
- crayons
- post it notes
- a highlighter
- a rag for their dry erase board
