Howdy all. I do hope you've been enjoying our Indian summer. The weather has left your kids with many a smiling faces. Today was so nice that we took our Reading Buddies to the park and read for a while on the grass.
We are wrapping our Native Californian studies, and will celebrate tomorrow by creating coiled clay pots just like Cahuilla tribe we studied today. Please remember that tomorrow brings our Native Californian vocabulary quiz. Next week will bring the unit assessment on our Indian studies. The kids will be able to use the study guides they've worked on in class during the test.
Each student will need a shoebox in class for their ocean animal reports by next Wednesday.
Students are responsible for the following tonight:
-Reading Log
-Math lesson 27 (all), pages 117-118
-Native Californian vocabulary and definitions are due tomorrow
Respectfully, Mr. Bryant

Howdy all. We are taking a break from the Reading book this week and focusing on science and social studies. We are still working through language / reading practice material in class, but the kids won't have any as part of their homework. Please be mindful that the kids have vocabulary words from their Reflection book this week in lieu of spelling.
Tomorrow is picture day, so please no bed head!
