Tuesday's Field Trip Info

Howdy all,
The kids had some questions regarding Tuesday's trip to San Juan Bautista that I would like to clarify for everyone here.

Students:
-everyone needs to bring a sack lunch,
-cameras are permitted,
-no need to bring additional $, as we've already paid for admission,
-a jacket might be a good idea, as valley weather is often different from ours,
-we'll be in small groups, exploring the mission and surrounding grounds, &
-each group will have a mission scavenger hunt to complete.

Drivers / chaperons:
-you'll need a sack lunch as well,
-bring a jacket
-we'll be leaving school as near to 9 as possible. The following folks have graciously volunteered their energy and time: Laura Cook, Holly Maixner, Evan Field, Mary Squires, Ellie Amarlou, Bill Peck, the Perrys, and Julie Roberson. We'll be organizing seat / car assignments Tuesday morning in case our driver list changes on Monday. Seeing as students from all fourth grade classrooms are attending, we may have students from multiple classrooms in one car.

This trip is genuinely interesting. I hope that each of you enjoy it, and walk away with a greater understanding of the mission than could be covered in our social studies books and reports.

Respectfully, Mr. Bryant
