Howdy all. The kids each received their Orange Folders today. In them you will find ID pictures, information on the next restaurant night @ Chili's, a new reading log, and report cards. The report cards are looking stark, thanks in part to the new electronic format. You'll notice that comments are on the light sight, considering that we are just coming off of conferences. Please sign and return the manila envelope that contains the report card ASAP. In fact, returning it in a signed Orange Folder would be most appreciated. There will not be Orange Folders sent home next week.
I will be out of the classroom again next week, and I apologize for the series of absences this month. Allyson Weston, whom the kids adore, will be here in my absence.
While I am away, the kids are responsible for the following:
Monday - Reading log, math lesson 49 (all), cursive letter 'e' and reading practice book pages 155, 161 & 162.
Tuesday - Reading log, math lesson 50 (all), cursive letter 'f' and reading practice book pages 158 & 159. Please make sure that you are ready for tomorrow's Literature Circle meeting.
Wednesday - Reading log, math 8A, cursive letter 'g' and reading practice book page 164.
Thursday - Reading log, cursive letter 'h' and reading practice book page 163. Make sure you are ready for tomorrow's spelling quiz.
I will not have access to email while I am away, so pressing concerns should be addressed to administration. Again, I apologize for the excessive absences this month, but thank you each for your understanding.

Happy Wednesday
Howdy all. I hope that each of you were able to enjoy our Veteran's Holiday.
The kids are getting more than antsy for their report cards. Contrary to an earlier post here, I am required to provide each family with a paper copy of their child's records. Please do not expect individual e-mails on Friday.
The kids are responsible for the following tonight:
-Reading Log (due Friday)
-Math 46 (all)
-Reflections practice page 42
