Howdy all, and thank you for checking in.  You have great kids, and I am really enjoying the time we are spending together.  They have so many stories and life experiences that they are eager to share!  The class feels like an amazing fit.

The kids had a little bit of time at the end of today to begin their homework, and several were able to get a great start.  Here is what they are responsible for tonight:

- 30 minutes DEAR
- math 2.1, page 27, problems 1-11
- reading practice book page 15
- study for tomorrow's spelling quiz

Hello all, and thank you for checking in.  We had another great day!  The kids seem to have found their comfort zone already, which makes me excited about where we are heading as a group.

The kids are responsible for the following tonight:

- 30 minutes DEAR
- nature log entry (its all about the details)
- chapter 1 math review, page 22, problems 1-15

Hello Room 13 families, and thanks for checking in.  My first day with the class went well.  The kids are engaged and seem to be excited for our school year together.

- math lesson 1.4, page 17, problems 6-14
