Wednesday and beyond

Howdy all. Well, due an absence from one of our runners-up, I am needing to postpone the announcement of our second classroom representative. Once both parties are present, we'll be interviewing the candidates to determine our second rep.

You might have noticed some changes to the exam schedule this week. The staff was just given a math and reading assessment whose results are due to the district office by next Friday. So, keeping our collective sanity in mind, I am opting to pass on our usual math tests for the week. We will have a math assessment on Thursday and a language assessment on Friday. These exams will not be graded, nor will they be factored into the kids' report cards. They are benchmark exams for State Academic Standards only. Honestly, they use these exams to make sure that teachers are doing their jobs. They're harmless.

The kids are responsible for the following tonight:

-Reading Log
-Pronoun packet pages 63 & 64
-Math lesson 44 (all), pages 204 - 205
-continue studying for Friday's spelling quiz

Respectfully, Mr. Bryant
