Wednesday

Howdy all. The kids are continuing to amaze their peers as they present their ocean animal reports and artwork. We decided, however, that we dislike long Wednesdays. Because school was long, we were able to complete quite a bit of work in class. So, homework is on the light side again tonight.

A friendly reminder, we have an appointment for the Book Faire this coming Monday at 11. Students will be allowed to browse and purchase books during the half hour we are there. I will also have a wish list available at the faire for families that are interested in donating books to the classroom.

Finally, during conference week the school will be conducting a student survey on bullying. The survey is comprehensive and will take about 45 minutes to complete. I would like to administer the survey on Wednesday. Families are required to submit permission slips stating that their child can take the survey. I receieved the permission slips late and was not able to include them in Monday's Green Folder, so they will be sent home on Thursday. Please be on the lookout for them and return them to school ASAP.

Students are responsible for the following work tonight:

-Reading Log
-Math lesson 33 (all)
-continue studying this week's vocabulary

Respectfully, Mr. B
