The jackalope and Thursday / Friday

A certain student in the class, you'll have to ask around because I swore not to tell, is convinced that the jackalope is alive and well and roaming the lands of our beautiful community. Why this animal has become a topic of discussion, we aren't really sure. However, I have promised this student, or any student in the class for that matter, that if a living jackalope specimen were presented to the class that not only would I give them an "A" in every subject, but would also skip them immediately to fifth grade and also pay for their college tuition and buy them the car of their choice. So, the reason for me rambling on about this animal is the kids are now convinced that they will find a jackalope and be set for life. Sorry.

The kids are responsible for the following work tonight:

-Reading Log (due next Friday)
-math lesson 34 (all)
-finish "expectations" writing from James and the GIant Peach
-California Reflections text page 115, questions 1-4

Tomorrow will be a mellow day. We are taking a vocabulary quiz, dabbling in some math, completing our ocean animal presentations and visiting our reading buddies.

Respectfully, Mr. B
