Tuesday and testing

Howdy all. We managed quite well through our first day of STAR testing. The kids made the comment that most of it was "easy". Always nice to hear on my end. We'll be tackling part two of the language portion on Friday morning. Again, please make sure sure the kids are to school on time, have had a healthy breakfast and are coming off a decent night's rest.

Tonight, the History Channel is playing part two of their "Life after People" series. We've seen the first episode in class, and the kids were quite taken with the various scientists' perspectives of what the future of our planet looks like sans humans. If anyone has a dvd recorder, and the ability to record tonight's episode for the class, we would appreciate a copy. It's on at 10, and I don't want the kids up late and crabby tomorrow.

Finally, please take a look through the barrage of school notices that went home in folders today. There is info regarding our KOA field day, auction raffle, art show, dine out night, testing, parent appreciation tea and staff luncheon. You'll also find your child's returned work.

Tonight, the kids are responsible for the following:

-math 104
-reading log
-complete Sadako packet, if necessary

Respectfully, Mr. B
