Wednesday

Howdy all. We are in a good place for the week. The weather has been kind, and the kids have been able to vent some energy during their recesses, keeping the classroom mellow! Always a nice thing. We are working on a second writing assignment now, aside from our Dream pieces, that are for the District bigwigs. The kids are writing about a favorite place. We are using our dream essays as templates, and the kids are having fun with the assignment. It will more than likely be finished on Friday.

Thursday brings us our final day of observing / recording the week-long banana decomposion project we started last Thursday. We are attempting to determine how and why decomposers are an essential past of a food chain / web. I'll be sure to post pics tomorrow of the end results!

Looks like a lot, but it's not. The kids are responsible for the following tonight:

-Reading Log
-Math 69 (1-20)
-Reading practice book page 244
-Science practice book pages 64-65
-continue studying science vocabulary for the week
-bring library books in Thursday morning

Respectfully, Mr. B
