Tuesday and stuff

Howdy all. The week is moving along well, and we are accomplishing much. Still, there is much to anticipate this week. For example, the class will be completing their current unit with math tomorrow and will be taking home pretest 5A for Wednesday night. The class was also given a new vocabulary sheet for James and the Giant Peach this week that is expected to be turned in on Friday. The students will be quizzed that same day. Wednesday and Thursday will wrap up our studies of Native Californians. Students will be tested on the materials that we have covered in these past three weeks on Friday. They will be allowed to use the study guides they created in class to aide them, but not their textbook. And, last but not least, ocean animal reports and 3-D artwork are due on Friday. We are very near completing our Power Point presentations on the laptops, and will spend one additional computer hour finalizing the projects next Tuesday.

Students are responsible for the following work tonight:

-Reading Log (due Friday)
-math lesson 29 (10-27)
-Reading workbook pages 82-83
-James and the Giant Peach creature interview
(all work was started in class)

Respectfully, Mr. B
