Everything Changes

Hello all, and thanks for checking in.  We are down to our final 30 days of school and STAR testing is upon us.  With these last weeks together finding us wrapping up core curriculum (reading anthology is done, we are on the last chapter of math and have one lesson from science left), you will not finding your child coming home with daily homework assignments. Instead, and as promised, the kids will find themselves working on larger projects.  The month of May will have us making a film, crafting a California report,  engaging with a science project and working with some very cool art projects.

I will still be updating the blog daily, so as to keep you best informed as to our going-ons and to expectations and goals as clear as possible.

This week's schedule is panning out as follows:

Tuesday - Final book report due

Wednesday & Thursday - STAR testing (language arts)

Thursday - Artists report and accompanying visual aide due.  Can be typed or in the student's best printing.

I would ask that the kids attempt to maintain their daily 30 minutes of DEAR, if possible.

Today's Red Folder has many returned papers and a permission slip for a documentary that I would like to share with the class.  Please return both to class by Friday.

Respectfully, Mr. Bryant
