the anticipation...

Howdy all, and thanks for checking in. The mood is a wacky one, as we are all very excited about the upcoming break. We have a few fun-filled days together as we make our way toward this much-needed and well-deserved rest.

Here are a few things to be aware of:

1.) The Discovery Channel has premiered an amazing series entitled "LIFE". Much in the same vein of the Planet Earth series we utilized while studying biomes, this series focuses on different species of animals. Last night's episodes were "Mammals" and "Fish", while last week's were "Reptiles" and "Amphibians". There are 11 episodes in all, each an hour in length. They are simply amazing, and highly recommended. New episode are airing Sunday's at eight, with the two previous week's episodes on at 6 and 7.

2.) Blue Folders are chocked full of goodies. Please be on the look out for the parent education survey and information for the seventh annual dinner, dance and auction on May 7th.

3.) Students received materials to begin their individual 4th grade science fair projects today. The first check in is Thursday, when kids need to submit their inquiry questions.

Tonight, the kids are responsible for the following:

- reading log
- math 21.1
- begin science fair inquiry
- Reflections practice book pages 62 & 63 (if not finished in class)

Respectfully, Mr. Bryant
