Masai Thursday

The school was visited by two guests from Kenya today who shared their experiences about growing up in another country and the challenges they faced in gaining an education. The class was amazed with their stories of living in the African bush and crafting homes from cow poo. Honestly, it was the best assembly the school has seen in years. I would encourage families who are interested in learning more about our guests' efforts to build schools in African communities to visit their website at

www.asanteafrica.org

The kids are responsible for the following tonight:

-Reading Log
-Math lesson 36 (1-20)
-Reflections workbook page 28
-study vocabulary for tomorrow's quiz

Respectfully, Mr. Bryant
